Couple Challenges — questions people ask
Is Couple Challenges free to play?
Yes. Couple Challenges is free in the browser with no download and no signup. The Mild level is unlimited; the bolder levels include a set number of free prompts each day.
How many people do you need for Couple Challenges?
Couple Challenges is designed for exactly 2 players.
What levels does Couple Challenges have?
Mild (an easy opener), Spicy (flirty and suggestive) and Extreme (our boldest, unlocked separately). You pick the level before you start and can change it at any point.
Do you need an app to play Couple Challenges?
No. It runs in any mobile or desktop browser — open the page, add players and start. Nothing to install and no account required.
Who is Couple Challenges suitable for?
The Mild level is fine for mixed groups. The bolder levels are unlocked separately and ask you to confirm before you start.
How is this different from Couple Dares?
Couple Dares deals one dare at a time with nobody keeping score. This is a match: you both do the same challenge, one of you wins the round, and the scoreboard decides who pays the forfeit at the end.
How many rounds should we play?
Five is about ten minutes and is the default. Seven and ten are there when a five-round match ends too soon. The last round is always worth double, so a match is rarely decided before the end.
What happens if we tie?
Sudden death — one extra challenge, and whoever wins it takes the match. There are no draws unless you run out of challenges.
Do we need anything to play Couple Challenges?
No. Everything works with an ordinary living room and things you already have — a book, a couple of cups, a sheet of paper. Nothing needs buying.
